Pastor Guy and Yvonne Basso took their three daughters and left their hometown of Coos Bay, Oregon in 1985 to follow the Lord into full-time Christian service. Prior to this Guy worked for several years in the maritime industry as a licensed U.S. merchant marine officer. Yvonne (Vonn) cared for her family as a full-time Mom and homemaker. They moved to Portland, Oregon to attend Multnomah Bible College, an independent, non-denominational Bible college.
Upon graduation, Guy and Vonn served with Village Missions, a missionary fellowship that reaches rural North America for Jesus Christ. Pastor Guy accepted the call to shepherd Grace Community Church in August of 2000. Their three, now grown, daughters, three son in-laws, and nine grandchildren (pictured below) all live in the Dallas area and are all involved in Grace Community Church. Associate Pastor:

Dave & Amy have a passion to see others fall in love with their Savior and dedicate their lives to following Him. As Associate Pastor, Dave's primary job is to oversee the Adult Ministries of GCC. He is also responsible to ensure GCC's ministries are functioning in the best possible way to glorify God and meet the needs of our members. Dave provides oversight to the ministry leaders and staff at Grace, focusing especially on Mid-Week Life Groups, Adult Sunday School, Men's Ministry and the Connection ministry.
Dave is a graduate of Corban University (previously, Western Baptist College), with a Bachelor of Science in Biblical Studies and is currently working on his Master's of Divinity in Pastoral Ministry at Western Seminary. Amy also graduated from Corban with a Bachelor of Arts in Women's Ministry. They have been at Grace Community Church since November of 2006. Their daughter Callie Sue was born in March 2010!

Ben Potloff & his wife Andrea
Ben & Andrea are committed to influencing students in the local church to live lives wholly devoted to Jesus Christ. Ben grew up in the church and was enormously influenced by his youth leaders, developing a God-given passion for ministry. He is a gifted teacher and loves seeing young people connect with God through the Word. He also loves having fun and connecting with students on a personal level!
Ben is a graduate of Corban University and has his Bachelor's Degree in Youth and Family Ministries. He was a 4-year basketball player for the Corban Warriors. Andrea is currently pursuing her Master's degree in business from Corban. Ben & Andrea have been at Grace Community Church since September 2009.
